Okay, I am not a blog lover, but I wanted to post so that you know we are still alive and selling. Purse flats particated in a Media Event in NYC on July 11, 2012. It was very exciting and there was a ton of interest in the product.
I will appear on the national morning program called Better on Monday, March 14th with my product Purse Flats. Use the promotional code Better for a 15% discount at http://www.purseflats.com during the month of March.

Well, that was short-lived…
I am still grateful for the opportunity to be on the show.
We filmed many hours of footage, but my portion was clipped down to about 1 minute. With that said, there was a ton of stuff that I said about my product, myself, and my product vision that never made the cut.
First point of clarification – In my pitch, “Educated” means the informed consumer NOT the PhD graduate. Additionally, I view this product as the platform for other accessories solutions (not just one product).
Thanks for the support!!!
P.S. – I am in the curvy girls club, but the camera is unforgiving and does give extra weight. I could have cut myself in half and still looked like an apple…but a “fly” apple.
Today the Times Picayune (New Orleans Newspaper) published a wonderful article on Purse Flats.
Check it out:
It is great to have hometown support.
Yours truly (me) will appear as a contestant on Homemade Millionaire (TLC). I will appear on the fashion episode which will air on Friday, December 3, 2010 (10 pm EST/9 pm CST).
Purse Flats received an invitation to join Astia, the premier global network serving women-led high growth start-ups since 1999. Purse Flats is only one of eight start-ups joining the elite Astia community for this summer’s 2010 New York program. A hand-picked group of just 224 companies across the globe have been invited to become Astia clients since 2003.
I am so excited about to growth, scale and focus Purse Flats will receive by joining this elite organization.
I attended the Columbia Women in Business Conference last week in NYC. It is a fabulous event that inspires women to reach new heights in business. It was just the motivation that I needed. It is lonely sometimes as an inventor, but it is refreshing to see and hear from other women who are trying to accomplish similar goals.
I am working on extending the line and my next colors will be chocolate brown and white. I will always carry luxury black, as this is my signature item. Exciting things to come in 2010!!! Stay tuned.
I have claimed that 2010 is the year of Purse Flats. It WILL be our fabulous breakthrough year. I can just feel it. Being an entrepreneur is tough, but it is very rewarding. Stay tuned for the ride/adventure.
P.S. Say a prayer for the people of Haiti.
R&B Singer Mya is one of the first celebrities to sport Purse Flats (see media link on website). She has been flawless on Dancing with the Stars. Support and vote for Mya, she is an awesome dancer with a sense of style!!
